Good day for bird pics, bad day for ants
So since it wasn’t raining today, I thought I’d go take some birds pics. Long story short- I spent the afternoon in the ER. While I was shooting this Red-shouldered Hawk I was ...
HDR Tiger Sunrise
I noticed how the sunrises right behind the TigerDirect logo. I thought it would make an interesting HDR image. What do you think? 3 shots taken at -2,0,+2.
Freebird
Had to say it- “‘Cause I’m as free as a bird now And this bird you can not change And the bird you can not change And this bird you can not change Lord knows, I can’t change Lord help me, I can’t change Lord I can’t change Won’t you fly, free bird, yeah” Lynyrd...
HDR Sunrise
Here is a sunrise image taken from North Miami, FL. HDR effect was added to give detail and a heavy grain look.
Beach Sunrise
Here is another sunrise image from Miami Beach, FL. This is the image I use on my business card. NO Photoshop, just the beauty of nature.
Dark Beach Sunrise
I shot a long exposure of this beach sunrise, (Miami Beach), and then added some toning. I think it added some needed mood to the image. What do you think?
Birds of Flight
Seagulls flying off the coast of SoBe, South Beach Miami, FL. Beautiful day on the beach. I miss the beach, not the heat.
HDR Sunrise in Athens, GA
This was a sunrise shot taken on a cloudy morning in Athens, GA. This a 3 exposure, 2 stop HDR image. The exposures were long, 3-10 seconds, in order to blur the car headlights.
Bring on The Heat
I posted this before, but to get ready for the playoffs, this is the AAA, American Airlines Arena in Downtown Miami, FL. Taken after a NBA Heat game.
Over-the-top HDR Mangrove Tree
Sometimes you can go too far on a picture with HDR, this is one of them. I went too far just to see how much grain and detail I could get from this image. I like the colors but I think effect maybe too much. What do you think?
Ocean Sunrise
This was taken just to the east of downtown Miami, FL. Being on the ocean at sunrise is very calming. Reminds me of my Navy years and my few months on the “Ike”, USS Eisnhower, CVN-69.
