We, myself and my family, are so lucky to live just minutes from one of the best beaches in the US, Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, FL.
I love taking sunset images. I like it even more when there are a few clouds to add the little extra to the image. Nothing tonight but still great to watch.
I miss the beach. I miss watching the sunrise on the water.
Here is a tone mapped image of Miami Beach, FL.
Used Nik Color Efex 4 for processing.
1st day of Spring! Yeah.
I wanted to post something that made me think “warm”.
This is a 3 exposure, -2,0,+2, HDR image. This was taken on the beach near South Beach Miami, FL.
TGIF. I wish it was warm, I wish it was warm…
Here is a sunrise from Miami Beach. This is a HDR image. I used NIK software to process. I like the added grain in the sand and water. Makes me think warm.
Sexy model, my wife, was walking on the beach as I took this image. This was the beach at Hilton Head, SC.
I love the way the reflection on the waves over the sand. What do you think?
This was a sunset shot taken at Corolla, NC, OBX on the bay side.
It is a 3 shot HDR image. I combined 3 exposures using Nik HDR efex Pro. The cool thing about the software is how it fixes ghosting. Since the kayaker’s oar was moving in all 3 frames, I was able to choose which frame I wanted to use. I picked the frame where the oars were moving the least.
I think it turned out pretty good. I like the look and feel and the color. What do you think?
This was sunrise at Corolla, NC, OBX, with my sister.
This was her first ocean sunrise she has seen. Beautiful morning.
Woke up for sunrise this morning in Corolla, NC, OBX.
Great beach. Water wasn’t too cold.
Nothing like spending the day on the water. Other than watching the sunset on the water.
After an over-night storm, I shot this pier near Sunny Isle, FL.
I used Nik Efex Pro filter to add toning and cold effect.
