Well it’s day 5 of 5 in the Black and White challenge. Thanks to my friend Jerry Ireland for including me in this. This is one of our orchids. We, Angela Aristizabal-Myeress and I, have about 8 plants. Most bloom several times a year.

This is for day 3 of my 5 day Black and White challenge. This was taken at sunrise at Matheson Hammock Park in Miami at low tide. Beautiful morning at beautiful location.

Happy Friday. Here is a simple BW of a beautiful orchid. I used Nik software to convert from color to black and white. I like the texture on the pedals. Very detailed.

UGH, it’s Monday. We took a trip last weekend to Helen, GA. This was our honeymoon cabin. I used Nik Color Efex Pro 4 to give it a vintage feel.

Ugh, it’s only Tuesday. Here is a recent HDR image I did of an old Chrysler. I love shooting old rusted cars. They have so much texture and mood. I used Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 software for the post processing.

Not sure the name of this plant, but I saw it while I was hiking in the Everglades in South Florida. I shot this in color and converted to BW in Silver Efex Pro. I like the way your eye follows the leaves around the circle like a clock. What do you think?
