This is one of my favorite images. The waterlilly from the Reflection pond at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami, FL.
A little HDR effect was added to bring out the detail.
While traveling in the SouthWest, I found this old truck in a small field. It was just begging to be photographed and then being turned into a HDR image.
It got its wish. This is one of my first, and favorite, HDR shots.

Sometimes you use HDR a little to bring out details. And sometimes you can push it too much to make the image surreal. I tried to really push it on this image. I wanted a “bigger than real” look.

The skies fill with balloons at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in NM. Every year they have 500+ balloons filling the skies. Everywhere you looked, there were balloons just waiting to be photographed.
I have been there several years, never get tired of it. It is so colorful and peaceful. I even flew 2x. I’ll be posting some of those shots soon.
