We had a visitor this past weekend. A full grown red-shouldered hawk. He/she hung out for a few minutes. Gave me enough time to shoot a few frames.
Look at him checking me out. I took this where I used to work, Fitch. I was about 10 feet away. Close enough.
“The early bird gets the worm…” or something like that. Here the hawk gets the gecko instead of a worm.
Starting to get cold here is GA, so I thought I would post a pic taken in Key West, FL. Stay warm my friends.

Something to get over the mid-week hump. A pelican walks into the drug store. He asks for a tube of chap-stick and tells the cashier to “put it on my bill”. lol. This was taken just North of Key West, FL. along the beach. He was nice enough to allow me to get close enough…
“What? You talkin’ to me?” While traveling in the SW, I saw this ostrich on a farm. What I learned that day, ostriches are mean.
While in Key West, I spotted this Blue Heron. I only had 1 chance at this picture. He flew off right after the camera click.
