The Osprey hawk visited today and sat and posed for me.
I love the detail in his/her feathers. Also I love the death stare.
There are 3 Osprey that fly around in our area. This one sat while the other 2 were flying high above.
This was taken with Canon 70D with Canon 100-400mm II L lens.

Recently, I was out in my garden taking some macro shots of some plants, when I had a visitor.
From out of the bushes came the green monster, the HULK. He was huge. Look how he towers over the mushrooms. And he was fast. I only got off this one image and then he was gone.
Before he jumped away, I heard him mumble, “Ragnarok”. I Googled this and I see this is where his friend, Thor, lives. He must be heading his way.
I look forward to the next encounter with the green beast in my backyard garden.
We, myself and my family, are so lucky to live just minutes from one of the best beaches in the US, Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, FL.
I love taking sunset images. I like it even more when there are a few clouds to add the little extra to the image. Nothing tonight but still great to watch.
The local Osprey hawk came by this morning with breakfast (a fish). He/she likes to sit on the edge of the roof outside our bedroom.
I wish it wasn’t so cloudy. This would’ve looked great against a blue sky showing off the feathers.
Image was taken with Canon 70D and Canon 100-400mm L II zoom.
Do you need a smile?
Checkout this happy bird. Almost looks as if he/she is smiling.
Doing more testing of my new lens, Canon 100-400mm L II, and loving it.
Here is a gator that visits a few times aweek in the cancel behind our condo.
I love the texture and detail this lens gets. Very sharp.
Where have you been all my life? Lol.
I’ve added an HDR effect to bring out the detail in the skin.
This reminds me of a little gator saying:
“It’s not that difficult to tell alligators and crocodiles apart.
One will see you in a while whereas the other will see you later.”
This was a sunrise image that I took.
I added a “painted” effect in Photoshop and added golfer.
Does it make you want to play a round of golf?
I took this image a few months ago. Yesterday I was playing around and came up with this new “fairy tale” look.
What do you think?
Care to take a morning swim?
Color was not Photoshopped. It was a bright orange.
This is off Miami Beach.
Well it’s day 5 of 5 in the Black and White challenge.
Thanks to my friend Jerry Ireland for including me in this.
This is one of our orchids. We, Angela Aristizabal-Myeress and I,
have about 8 plants. Most bloom several times a year.
