I wanted to share the uncropped version of yesterday’s pic. I cropped my shadow out. I thought it took away from the doorway. What do you think? Cropped? Uncropped? OR even cropped as a square without my shadow?
I was photographing a new school/church being built yesterday. There were a lot of great angle and textures. I really like this doorway. I added HDR effect to bring out detail in the brinks. It also added a glow down the hallway around the ceiling lights. Nice. 3 exposures, -2, 0, +2 stops.
Down at the local movie theater in Key West, FL., Marilyn stands over a heating grate having your dress blown up. She does this all the time. Why? She is a statue. I did a 3 exposure, 2 stop, HDR effect of this image. The effect was to add detail and texture.
This was taken inside the distribution center (DC) of a major computer retailor. Sometimes HDR is overdone and sometimes it is what is needed for the image. I really like the way this image turned out. What do you think? I like the leading and the repeating lines. This is a 3 exposure, 2 stop…
This is the train that goes from Durango to Silverton, Colorado. I added HDR effect, converted to black and white, and gave it a boarder to give it that “old” feel. What do you think?

I found this old gas station in Watkinsville, GA. This is a 3-exposure, 2-stop HDR image. Processed in Photomatix. I like the detail and the slight glow it has. What do you think?
On a sunrise shoot, I took this shot and didn’t think much about it. It wasn’t very interesting. So I decided to play with filters. I combined 3 exposures and used such filters as tone mapping, edge find, and high key. It has a “comic book” feel to it. I think it turned out pretty good. Do…
