This was one of the last Miami coast sunrise shoots I did before moving to Georgia. My wife, Angela, and my friend, Carlos, joined me on this very early shoot.
HDR effect was added. You can almost feel the rocks and moss in the forground.
Something bright and colorful for the weekend. This was taken at the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in NM.
This was taken on the California coast. You know, where the happy cows live. I just like how peaceful it is.
While shooting a sunrise off Sunny Isles, FL, I saw this woman on the pier. I like the way the clouds fill the frame.
This is a sunrise off Miami Beach, FL. I added HDR effect to add grainy look.
I took this at sunrise from the bottom of a small hill. I like the colors.
Those of you who watch USA Networks’ Burn Notice will remember this site from the opening credits. Shot in downtown Miami, FL.
Sometimes you use HDR a little to bring out details. And sometimes you can push it too much to make the image surreal. I tried to really push it on this image. I wanted a “bigger than real” look.
What do you think?
The skies fill with balloons at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in NM. Every year they have 500+ balloons filling the skies. Everywhere you looked, there were balloons just waiting to be photographed.
I have been there several years, never get tired of it. It is so colorful and peaceful. I even flew 2x. I’ll be posting some of those shots soon.
