Here is a sunrise image taken from North Miami, FL.
HDR effect was added to give detail and a heavy grain look.
I shot a long exposure of this beach sunrise, (Miami Beach), and then added some toning. I think it added some needed mood to the image.
What do you think?
Sometimes you can go too far on a picture with HDR, this is one of them.
I went too far just to see how much grain and detail I could get from this image. I like the colors but I think effect maybe too much. What do you think?
This was taken just to the east of downtown Miami, FL.
Being on the ocean at sunrise is very calming. Reminds me of my Navy years and my few months on the “Ike”, USS Eisnhower, CVN-69.
I wanted to bring out the detail and the highlights in the center of the palm tree, so I shot this tree in 3 exposures. +2, 0, -2, handheld.
I then combined the images in Photoshop to make a HDR image. The tree has a little glow to it. I think it gives it a warmth. Makes you feel as if you are lying on the beach looking up at the palm.
I have shot a lot of sunrises on the beach, but this is one of my favorites.
I love the way the sunlight shines across the water. Very calming.
I just want to fit in.
Almost every photographer has images from Yosemite. So do I.
So, here is one of my favorites from there.
It is simple. No effects, no Photoshop. Just nature.
Leading line, leading fence. Tomatoe, tomato.
I saw this long white fence on the green grass leading your eye from near to far. If your eyes follow the fence, what will you see at the end? Sky? More fence? The future? Tell me.
While traveling in the SouthWest, this was somewhere in AZ. Nature is just perfect. Nothing added to this image. Just nature.
This was before GPS or geo tagging so I have no idea where exactly this was. I think somewhere near Sedona Arizona.
While flying high in the sky over New Mexico, I captured this image of the other hot air balloons around us. Being up in a balloon is AWESOME!
