This was taken just to the east of downtown Miami, FL. Being on the ocean at sunrise is very calming. Reminds me of my Navy years and my few months on the “Ike”, USS Eisnhower, CVN-69.

This is a sunrise image taken at Matheson Hammock Park just outside Miami, FL. near Coral Gables. This is a mangrove tree forest. The water was at low tide. It was about 6-8″ high. It has a great mirror effect. There was NOTHING added to this image. No Photoshop, just nature and it’s beauty.
Here is a little green for St. Patrick’s Day. This was one of the many reflection ponds in Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Coral Gables, FL. Great way to spend the day. I added some tone mapping to add more detail.
This was one of the last Miami coast sunrise shoots I did before moving to Georgia. My wife, Angela, and my friend, Carlos, joined me on this very early shoot. HDR effect was added. You can almost feel the rocks and moss in the forground.
This was taken just a short walk from where we live. It was a beautiful summer afternoon. Can’t wait until the weather is like this again. A little HDR effect was added to give detail.
