This was taken just to the east of downtown Miami, FL. Being on the ocean at sunrise is very calming. Reminds me of my Navy years and my few months on the “Ike”, USS Eisnhower, CVN-69.
Not sure the name of this plant, but I saw it while I was hiking in the Everglades in South Florida. I shot this in color and converted to BW in Silver Efex Pro. I like the way your eye follows the leaves around the circle like a clock. What do you think?

I have shot a lot of sunrises on the beach, but this is one of my favorites. I love the way the sunlight shines across the water. Very calming.
This is a sunrise image taken at Matheson Hammock Park just outside Miami, FL. near Coral Gables. This is a mangrove tree forest. The water was at low tide. It was about 6-8″ high. It has a great mirror effect. There was NOTHING added to this image. No Photoshop, just nature and it’s beauty.
I just want to fit in. Almost every photographer has images from Yosemite. So do I. So, here is one of my favorites from there. It is simple. No effects, no Photoshop. Just nature.
Spring has sprung. I added HDR effect to this image to give it more detail. 3 shot exposure, 2 stops.
Hungry? Hungry for some HDR berries? I don’t really know what kind of berries these are. (I forgot to read the label under the bush). But I liked the color and texture they had. I then did a 3 exposure, 2 shot, HDR process to the image.
